Today is Hat Day, and of course, we’ll find a way to celebrate it!

Have Some Outdoor Fun

Here in Canada, you need to wear a hat in January, or your ears will freeze and fall off, and that’s not fun!

Unless you’re a teenager, obviously, and then you don’t need a hat, gloves, or boots. Just trudge to school in your unbuttoned winter coat, like all the other “cool” kids. (Am I right?)

Waddling Down the Street

In the photo below, I was out for a Christmas Eve walk, with my brother and his daughter. My son was there too, but trailing along somewhere behind us. Maybe he was walking with my Mom, who snapped this photo, which I love!

We’re all wearing warm black toques, and doing the “penguin walk”. The streets were deserted, so it was safe to walk down the centre of the street.

Do NOT try this on a busy street though!
